What changes from one arrivals hall to the next

Paris-Charles de Gaulle uses a Parking Pro per terminal. Rome Fiumicino runs chauffeur pick-ups through its NCC hub and coaches from Terminal 3 stands 20-26. Berlin Brandenburg keeps vehicles over 3.5 tonnes off the terminal zones. Zurich requires a kerbside permit for buses, minibuses over nine seats and vehicles over 2 m. Schiphol gives coaches a free waiting area, P41, for up to six hours.

Long days after long flights

A delayed landing eats into the driver's day. EU rules cap driving at nine hours daily and require a 45-minute break after four and a half hours. For a late arrival followed by a long onward run, agree with the operator how a delay is handled.

The arrival terminal for each flight. Fiumicino splits Schengen and non-Schengen traffic between T1 and T3, and Prague between T2 and T1.
