Brussels Airport transfers: arrivals hall and the Level 0 bus station
Brussels Airport at Zaventem is about 12 km from the city, 20-40 minutes by road. It has one terminal with two piers, one arrivals hall, and a bus station a short covered walk away.
Chauffeurs meet in the arrivals hall
The single terminal serves Pier A and Pier B, but everyone comes out into the same arrivals hall, where chauffeurs meet their passengers. For a car or executive van, that is the whole meeting plan. For a mixed party, the VIPs leave from the hall with their driver while the rest head for the bus station.

Organised coaches: the bus station on Level 0
Organised coaches leave from the bus station on Level 0, about 100 m from the arrivals hall along a covered walkway. Passengers follow the "Bus" signs down from arrivals. Tell the group before they fly, and give the leader the operator's name and the vehicle plate so they find the right coach first time.
The Brussels LEZ and the Euro 5 diesel ban
The low-emission zone covers all 19 Brussels-Capital municipalities; the R0 ring is excluded. Since 1 January 2026, Euro 5 diesel buses and coaches are banned from it. Foreign-registered vehicles must register before entering. For a group using an operator from outside Belgium, registration is one more item to confirm; for a local operator, the question is simply whether the vehicle is newer than Euro 5 diesel.
Coach stops in the city: 30 minutes or 5 hours
Short-stop coach zones allow up to 30 minutes, for example Boulevard de Berlaimont near Central Station, handy for hotels in the Pentagon. Medium-stop zones allow up to five hours: Rue Ducale by the Royal Palace, Avenue de Bouchout and Boulevard Pachéco. A group checking into a hotel near the Grand-Place is typically set down at a short-stop zone; a coach waiting through an afternoon programme suits a medium-stop zone.
Charleroi, Bruges and Ghent
Some flights use Brussels South Charleroi, about 55 km from the city. Bruges (about 100 km) and Ghent (about 55 km) are common first-day destinations straight from the airport, and Waterloo, about 20 km from Brussels, makes a short half-day.
