Prague airport transfers, chauffeur service and group transport
Coaches do not enter Prague's historic centre without an exception. They work from paid stands on the heritage-zone perimeter, and the walk from stand to sight belongs in the timings.
Václav Havel Airport: which terminal, which hall
Terminal 1 handles non-Schengen flights, Terminal 2 Schengen. Car pick-up points are directly in front of both arrival halls, and dispatchers help at the exits and car meeting points from 07:00 to 21:00. The Prague City Tourism Visitor Centre is in the Terminal 2 arrivals hall. For coaches, agree the loading position with the operator when you book. The centre is about 18 km, 25-45 minutes.
Perimeter stands: K+R and long-stay
K+R set-down stands allow 15 minutes at most; long-stay stands four hours. Stands are charged daily from 08:00 to 20:00 through parking meters. A long visit means a set-down at K+R and a separate long-stay position, not one stand for both.

Castle and Old Town: the walking legs
Castle coaches stop at Mariánské hradby and Dlabačov, about five minutes' walk. The Old Town stop is nábřeží Edvarda Beneše, about ten minutes from Old Town Square. Charles Bridge is pedestrian. Set down at the castle, walk the group downhill, and collect at the Old Town stop rather than climbing back.
Congress Centre, O2 arena and day trips
The Prague Congress Centre is in Vyšehrad, Prague 4; PVA EXPO Praha is at Letňany. The O2 arena hosts hockey and concerts. Kutná Hora is 1-1.25 hours out and Terezín 50-70 minutes. The Old Town Square Christmas market runs 28 November 2026 to 6 January 2027.
Karlovy Vary at 1.5-2 hours and Český Krumlov at 2.5-3 hours make long days. The driver needs a 45-minute break after four and a half hours at the wheel, so a Krumlov return is a full-day booking, not an afternoon add-on.
Principals in the Old Town
The historic-centre ban is written for coaches. For a chief executive or a speaker staying in the Old Town, an executive car with meet-and-greet at the arrival-hall pick-up points is the direct option, while the rest of the group follows by coach to the nearest stand.
