Wedding transport for couples and their guests
A destination wedding moves the couple, the family and a hundred guests between hotel, ceremony and reception, often late into the night. We arrange chauffeur cars and coaches with licensed partner operators, timed to the day's programme.
The couple in a car, the guests in a coach
An executive car seats one to three passengers, so the couple travel in their own vehicle on their own timings. Guests move in midi coaches of 29-35 seats or full-size coaches of 49-57. A midi coach is easier to place outside a small church or villa, and two midis can split guests between hotels.
The late return and the driver's hours
Working-time limits apply to the drive home from a late reception. The overnight rest a driver needs, normally 11 hours and only sometimes shortened to 9, means the driver who brought guests at 15:00 may not be the one who takes them home at 01:00. If there is a brunch the next morning, the same rules decide whether one driver can do both. Give the operator every leg, including the one nobody wants to think about until midnight.
Venue access in historic towns
In Dubrovnik, anything from a 7+1 van upwards is booked through the Bus Web Shop in season, and guests are set down at the Pile or Ploče zones rather than at a venue door. In Florence every coach needs a contrassegno and uses authorised stops. Nice allows 30-minute set-downs at authorised points. Check early whether the ceremony venue can take a coach at all, or whether guests walk a short way.
Questions
Can the same coach wait all evening?
It can wait, but the driver's hours limit how late the return can be. A second driver is sometimes needed.
Can we book a car for the couple and coaches for guests together?
Yes. One request can include both, each priced as its own vehicle.
Can a coach reach a venue in Dubrovnik's Old Town?
No. Guests leave the vehicle at the Pile or Ploče zones and walk in through the gates.
What changes the price?
Hours on duty, late finishes, the number of vehicles, distance, permits and waiting time.
