From Athens International to Syntagma
The airport is about 33 km from Syntagma, 35 to 60 minutes by road. Pre-booked vehicles collect next to Short Term 1 parking or in the Arrivals-level pick-up zone. Barrier-controlled kerb zones give a 10-minute free stay; the waiting area for pre-booked vehicles is in the airport Retail Park. For a coach group, that means the vehicle holds off-kerb until the group is through baggage reclaim, then moves up.
Metropolitan Expo stands next to the airport, so fair visitors lodged nearby may hardly need the city at all.

Timing the Acropolis around timed entry
The Acropolis sells timed-entry tickets. Book the slot first and set the coach pickup from it, with a margin for city-centre traffic. The Acropolis Museum lies below the south slope, so site then museum on foot, with collection afterwards, avoids a second set-down. Ask the operator to name set-down and pickup points on the quote.
Folding Piraeus into the programme
Piraeus is 45 to 60 minutes from the airport. A common pattern for cruise groups is a night in Athens, a morning at the Acropolis and an afternoon transfer to Terminal A (Miaoulis) or B (Themistocles). Keep luggage on the coach through the sightseeing and brief the driver on the terminal the day before.
Sounion, Corinth and Delphi
Cape Sounion and the Corinth Canal are each 1 to 1.5 hours away; Nafplio and Mycenae about 2 hours; Delphi 2.5 to 3 hours. A Delphi return fills the driver's day: the 9-hour daily driving cap and a 45-minute break after 4.5 hours both apply, so consider an overnight.
Megaron congresses and OAKA events
The Megaron Athens International Conference Centre is central; OAKA hosts stadium concerts and major events. A delegate hotel on the Athens Riviera in Glyfada or Vouliagmeni means a daily shuttle to either, so weigh the sea view against the morning run.
