Barcelona El Prat transfers: meeting points and coach docks
El Prat is about 15 km from Barcelona, 25-45 minutes by road. Aena publishes meeting points for each terminal and separate coach docks, and any vehicle with nine or more seats then needs a Zona Bus permit in the city.
Meeting points: T1 Floor 1, T2B Floor 0
Aena's meeting points are in the T1 arrivals hall on Floor 1 and the T2B arrivals hall on Floor 0. Chauffeur and van passengers are greeted there, then walk to the vehicle. Note the floor: at T1 the meeting point and the coach level are on different floors. If the party mixes a chauffeur car for two directors with a coach for the team, the two groups part company at the meeting point, so decide beforehand who rides in which vehicle.

Group coaches load at T1 Floor 0 Arrivals, T2A docks 1-10 and 41-51, and T2C docks 21-33. The operator gives the dock number with the booking; pass it to the group leader so nobody waits at the wrong end of T2.
Zona Bus 4.0 from the moment the coach leaves the airport
Zona Bus 4.0 went live on 26 January 2026. Vehicles with nine or more seats, driver included, need a daily Zona Bus permit, so a 16-seat minibus is covered as well as a full coach. Stops at Sagrada Família, Park Güell, La Pedrera, Sant Pau and MNAC need advance booking, drivers log arrival and exit with the SPRO app, and a Zona Bus stop lasts up to 10 minutes. Hotel drop-offs work, but they are quick.
The ZBE Rondes low-emission zone runs weekdays 07:00-20:00 and requires buses and coaches to be Euro 4 or newer.
Airport to port, or airport to Fira Gran Via
The cruise port is about 15 km from the airport, 20-30 minutes, with drop-off allowed but no parking at the terminals. For MWC Barcelona, 1-4 March 2027, Fira Gran Via is in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, outside the city, and delegates often go straight there.

Does a small van need a Zona Bus permit?
The rule applies to vehicles with nine or more seats including the driver. A car or an eight-seat van falls below it.
Can the coach wait at the hotel while we check in?
A Zona Bus stop lasts up to 10 minutes. Longer waits need a parking plan, which the operator arranges.
Which terminal is my flight?
Check the ticket for T1 or T2. At T2, the dock depends on whether the coach uses T2A or T2C.
Can we stop at Park Güell on the way in?
Only with a booked stop. Park Güell coach parking is via Carretera del Carmel, by reservation only, and the operator books it alongside the day's Zona Bus permit.
