Berlin Brandenburg transfers: cars at Terminal 1, coaches at Bus Stop B
Berlin Brandenburg is about 27 km from central Berlin, 40-60 minutes by road. Cars and vans collect on the arrivals level at Terminal 1; heavier vehicles load at Bus Stop B, a short walk across.
The 3.5-tonne line at the terminal kerb
Terminal pick-up zones at BER are limited to vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes. Chauffeur cars and executive vans collect on the arrivals level in front of Terminal 1 and load straight from the hall. Coaches go to Bus Stop B. A minibus on a larger chassis is often over the limit as well, so the operator confirms which side of the line your vehicle falls.

Bus Stop B: the walk from each terminal
Bus Stop B is opposite Terminal 1, about 400 m or three minutes' walk from T1 and 600 m or seven minutes from T2. It also serves intercity, tour, hotel and trade-fair shuttles, so the group leader should have the operator's name and the vehicle plate before landing. A group arriving at T2 with heavy bags should expect the full seven minutes.
Mixed parties: VIPs at the kerb, the group at Bus Stop B
For a board travelling with its wider team, the weight rule suggests a split: directors in a car at the Terminal 1 kerb, everyone else on a coach at Bus Stop B. Both vehicles can leave together if the host walks the group across while the car loads. Agree the split before travel so nobody queues at the wrong door.
Berlin's Umweltzone and signed coach parking
The Umweltzone covers about 88 km² inside the S-Bahn ring and requires a green sticker. Coaches registered abroad need one too, which matters when a foreign operator brings a group in. Signed coach parking exists at Hauptbahnhof, Zoo station, Brandenburg Gate, Olympiastadion and Charlottenburg Palace, and ZOB, the central coach station, is opposite the exhibition grounds.
Messe Berlin, Potsdam and Dresden
For Messe Berlin and CityCube the coach can run straight to ZOB opposite the grounds, useful when exhibitors land on build-up day and want to see the hall before the hotel. Potsdam is about 35 km from Berlin; Dresden about 190 km, 2-2.5 hours, which on a long arrival day needs checking against the driver's hours.
