The city terminal for coaches and long-distance buses is Zürich Bus Station on Sihlquai, with 28 stands, renovated and reopened in October 2024. It sits beside the Swiss National Museum and the main station, which makes it a natural hand-off for a group arriving by rail and continuing by coach. Ask the operator to confirm the stand before the day.
Oerlikon, the lakeside and the airport: three congress bases
Messe Zürich and the Hallenstadion are both in Oerlikon; the Kongresshaus is on the lake beside the Tonhalle; The Circle is at the airport. That spread matters. An airport or Glattbrugg hotel suits a Circle event but adds a daily cross-city run for a Kongresshaus programme. Match the hotel district to the venue and the shuttle plan shrinks.
For board-level visitors between the airport, Enge and the Altstadt, an executive car with a chauffeur is usually the right tool; a van covers a small team with bags.
Lucerne, Rhine Falls and Titlis days
Lucerne and the Rhine Falls at Neuhausen are each about 50 km, 45 to 60 minutes. Engelberg for Mount Titlis is 1 to 1.25 hours; Bern 1.25 to 1.5 hours. On a long day out, keep the driver's 45-minute break after 4.5 hours at the wheel in the timetable.
