Athens airport to the ship
Allow 45 to 60 minutes for the 45 to 50 km between the airport and the port. Pre-booked vehicles wait in the airport Retail Park, then collect beside Short Term 1 parking or at the pick-up zone on the Arrivals level. On embarkation day, leave room for a late bag and the ship's check-in close; a flight landing an hour before boarding ends is too tight.
An Acropolis shore day from the ship
The Acropolis runs on timed-entry tickets, so fix the slot, then plan the coach from the ship backwards from all-aboard. The Acropolis Museum and Plaka sit below the site, which lets a group see all three on foot between one drop and one pickup. Cape Sounion, 1 to 1.5 hours from Athens, suits a longer call with a later sailing.
